As you return from spring break, the libraries on campus are busier than ever. If you’re having a hard time finding a free table at Van Pelt but crave the quiet atmosphere of a library, then the Biomedical Library is the place for you. Students in the Medical School and School of Nursing frequent the Biomed Library, but it is just a short walk away from the Quad and Spruce Street. The combination of tables, desks and plush chairs provide a variety study environments for all Penn students.
The Biomed Library is the ideal place to study for all of your upcoming midterm exams. Many of the study carrels have computers, so you can also spend your time there working on your take home exams or response papers.
The Biomed Library also boasts room reservations similar to Weigle Information Commons in Van Pelt. In addition to standard rooms with a white board and monitor, the Biomed Library also has a study room that allows for larger groups (up to 12 people) to collaborate. This large study room is perfect for study groups or group presentation rehearsals.
